Algol Paradox music series is a conceptualisation formulated by producer Andreas Dimitriadis. Just like two thoughts or two sentences or two code snippets that connect to each other in order to form an operand; the series is binary connectors of spiritualism and music, dance and visual arts.

In stellar astronomy, the Algol paradox is a paradoxical situation when elements of a binary star seem to evolve in discord with the established theories of stellar evolution. Passion for the skies and the observation of star systems has impelled the artist’s stimulus in a unique way so that birth has been given to this experiential music project. It is a modern narrative of music that announces and resurrects the ancient myth of Theseus and his journey to the Labyrinth to fight Minotaur.

Part of the visual project consists of data-driven Artificial Intelligence machine learning algorithms that create abstract environments. The Α.Ι. algorithm we are using using for Algol Paradox, is based on a frequency of photos, which the displacement converts to 3D sculptured images. The result is processed by digital media and CGI to complete the visual experience.
